Mikhal Dekel racontera l’histoire d’un groupe d’enfants juifs polonais qui ont fui l’occupation nazie en passant par l’Union soviétique, l’Ouzbékistan puis Téhéran pour atteindre finalement la Palestine sous mandat britannique. Mikhal Dekel a entrepris de mener une recherche sur ces enfants, parmi lesquels se trouvait son père. Le résultat de sa recherche sera publié en 2017.

Talk by Mikhal Dekel, professor at City College of New York
Mikhal Dekel tells the story of a group of Polish Jewish children who fled the Nazi occupation through the Soviet Union, via Uzbekistan and Iran, finally reaching Palestine, then under British mandate. Prof. Dekel has carried out extensive research on these children, one of whom was her own father. The book based on her findings will be published in 2017.
