Yiddish in Berlin
The First Summer Program for Yiddish Language and Literature in Berlin will take place at the Institute for East European Studies at the Free University of Berlin between August 14th and September 1st 2017.

Afternoon program :
Workshops : singing (with Karsten Troyke), theatrical improvisation (with Tal Hever-Chybowski), conversation (with Sharon Bar-Kochva) and cooking (with Annick Prime-Margules).
Guided tours : « Yiddish Berlin », Scheunenviertel, and the Jewish Cemetery of Weißensee.
Lectures in Yiddish, German and English.
Film screenings.
Tuition :
680 €.
Students under 30 : 480 €.
Scholarships may be granted (mainly for students).
